New Form of Car Supermarket

Posted on | May 5, 2009 |

A car supermarket is usually associated with a large independent reseller of new, nearly new and used vehicles that occupies bigger areas which are treated as a showroom for models on sale. It is a traditional definition of car supermarket which has recently changed. Some car supermarkets change their way of operating, placing the majority of their offers on their Internet Websites and presenting them as either auctions or as a ‘buy it now’ option.

Such methods of selling cars has its pros and cons. Receiving a better or simply lower than usual price, electronic security of transaction and the possibility to check the stock at any time can definitely be seen as advantages. The minus is scarcity of the possibility of taking a test ride as you usually need to contact the seller to negotiate a time and place of appointment. As to other parts of the car purchasing process one cannot expect too much compared to general dealerships. Cars usually appear with a full description and many photos showing them from almost every perspective / angle in order to assist the buyer in making a proper judgment of the vehicle.
