Upgrades Galore - The Mazda 6
Posted on | June 30, 2010 |
As the official Mazda Website describes it “if all you want from your car is to get from A to B, then the upgraded Mazda 6 is not for you. This car is for those with an unashamed passion for driving”. So that is straight from the horses’ mouth; the Mazda 6 is not for the fainthearted! And quite rightly so because this is a car that offers a truly unique design that is backed up with a performance, which can rival most others in its class. The older used Mazda 6 still remains a feasible option but the new and more advanced model offers much more including a new 2.2 litre Diesel engine that is offered in a number of different power derivatives. Due to these new additions, it has led to even better Co2 emission rates, which is another box ticked for the new and used Mazda 6 vehicle. As we know, anything that remotely increases the likelihood of helping the environment is valued by the government, which immediately assists buyers’ road tax bills. The Mazda 6 has also been rewarded for its improvements and has won numerous awards such as the 2010 Estate Car of the Year as well as the 2010 Family Car of the Year. Therefore, it makes for a very interesting option to those thinking of buying a new car. Cars from this Japanese automaker have long been established with advanced technologies; even the older used Mazda cars from yesteryears always had something special when it came to new innovations. And the Mazda 6 is no different; with features such as push button start, Xenon headlights and a stereo system that will blow your mind, it is no wonder that this Mazda car is the envy of so many. A new unit will set you back at least £16,995 (standard 1.8 litre version) and so if this is a tad too expensive, your best bet may be to purchase a used Mazda, which can be picked up for under £10,000.
